Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Eat Verdure (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and any other party who accesses the Service.
2. The Service
Eat Verdure is an AI-powered recipe generation platform. It uses large language models and image generation systems to produce recipe content in response to user prompts. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
3. AI-Generated Content
All recipes, ingredient lists, cooking instructions, and related content produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.
- Recipes are not reviewed or verified by professional chefs, nutritionists, or food safety experts before being presented to you.
- It is your sole responsibility to verify that all ingredients and preparation methods are safe, appropriate for your dietary needs, and suitable for your circumstances before consuming or serving any recipe.
- Always check that all ingredients are within their expiry date and are fresh before use. The Service does not verify or account for the condition, freshness, or shelf life of any product in your possession.
- If you have any food allergies or intolerances, independently verify every ingredient in any generated recipe before consuming it. AI-generated content may include allergens without flagging them for your specific needs.
- Generated content is not a substitute for professional dietary, nutritional, or medical advice. If you have health conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions, consult a qualified professional before following any recipe.
4. Your Responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide only lawful and appropriate recipe requests.
- Verify the safety and suitability of any recipe before preparing or consuming it.
- Take full responsibility for any recipe you choose to follow.
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share your account with others.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Request recipes containing toxic substances, non-food items, dangerous chemicals, petroleum products, cleaning agents, illegal drugs, or any ingredient that could cause harm if consumed.
- Attempt to circumvent safety filters or abuse the AI system.
- Generate content intended to harm, deceive, or endanger others.
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce the Service's output at scale for commercial purposes.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
6. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information at registration. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Eat Verdure offers optional paid subscription plans (Pro and Premium). Payments are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), who acts as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, you are entering into a payment agreement with Paddle, governed by Paddle's terms available at paddle.com/legal. Paddle is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].
Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. No pro-rated refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law. For refund requests, contact [email protected] or refer to Paddle's refund policy at paddle.com.
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the updated price.
8. Intellectual Property
The Eat Verdure name, logo, design, and software are the property of Eat Verdure and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission. AI-generated recipes produced in response to your prompts may be used by you for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recipe produced will be safe or suitable for your needs.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Eat Verdure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or any recipe generated by it, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, allergic reactions, or property damage resulting from following AI-generated instructions. You assume all risk associated with the use of any recipe.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers including Google (authentication), Anthropic (language model), OpenAI (image generation), Google Cloud (hosting and storage), and Paddle (payment processing).
